RentyPal is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace that connects you with local individuals who want to rent items temporarily. Owners can list items that are sitting in the garage and rarely used for quick bucks. Browse items, book, communicate with the owner, arrange pickup/delivery, and make secure payments through our platform. Rent, enjoy, return!
Available to anyone 18+ with a valid ID. Renters choose items they need; owners list the items they’re willing to share. All users undergo identity verification and can review each other after every transaction.
Payments are processed securely via integrated payment gateways. Owners can optionally require a refundable deposit, which is held during the rental period and released after safe return. RentyPal automatically manages deposits to ensure fairness
All users are verified, and items are protected by RentyPal’s partner insurance coverage during rental periods. Owners are safeguarded against accidental damage, theft, or loss. Specific coverage details are clearly presented at checkout.
Returns are arranged directly between the renter and the owner through our app. You’ll coordinate a pickup/drop-off time and location that’s convenient for both parties. The preferred location and all return details are clearly stated within each listing. Late return policies are transparently stated, with optional late fees if applicable.
If an item is damaged or not returned, owners must report it within 24 hours of the rental ending. RentyPal then mediates the dispute and processes any necessary claims or reimbursements. Refunds or reimbursements for the owner (and possibly partial refunds for renter) follow once resolved.
Owners must accurately describe their items, upload photos, and highlight any faults. RentyPal uses moderation and user reviews to ensure listings remain trustworthy. Rely on reviews and ratings before booking.
- Renters: You can cancel before the owner accepts the request, for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup, a cancellation fee applies.
- Owners: You may decline or cancel before confirming a request with no penalty. Any cancellations made after confirmation are strongly discouraged and multiple search cancellations might result in account deactivation.
After each transaction, both renter and owner can rate and review one another. High ratings increase trust and visibility on the platform. Feedback helps maintain quality and trustworthiness in our community.
