For trust and safety, government-issued identification may be collected by RentyPal or its partners for verification purposes. Opting into newsletters or promotional updates involves collecting an email address and preferences.

Data is also received from third parties, such as analytics providers, social media platforms (if an account is linked), or public authorities for verification, as permitted by law. Profile names, general location, and listed items are visible to other users to facilitate rentals, with visibility adjustable in account settings.
